Based on the information we have received from many parts of the Muslim world, and as declared by the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia along with the following countries, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Yemen, and others, the crescent 🌙 moon of Ramadan has been sighted this evening of Friday April 1st, therefore the month of Sha’ban has come to an end in 29 days (Sha’ban 1443 A.H.) on Friday April 1st, in accordance with the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah (‏صلى الله عليه وسلم):

Fast when you see the crescent [of Ramadan]. If it is obscured to you, then complete thirty days of Sha’baan. And break your fast when you see the crescent [of Shawwal]. If it is obscured to you then fast thirty days [of Ramadan]

Subsequently, Taraweeh prayers will start tonight Friday April 1st and the First day of fasting will be tomorrow Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 inshallah.

We will be holding Taraweeh prayers tonight at the MAYF Center immediately after Isha@9:15pm.
