Community Services
This program is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Muslim-American individuals and families in King County through culturally responsive programs and events. Our initiatives focus on strengthening community connections, providing essential social services, and promoting access to resources that empower families, youth, and underserved populations through a holistic approach.

Youth Athletics & Counselling Program
This Program features weekly sports activities (including basketball and soccer) and youth mentoring. MAYF’s dedicated and qualified staff utilize best-practice strategies in youth engagement and youth safety through comprehensive athletics, workshops and learning activities. MAYF hosts sports events, competitions, seminars, lectures, trainings and engagement activities to promote positive behaviors and emotional resilience.

Islamic Programs
Islamic Programs aim to nurture spiritual growth, strengthen Islamic values, and provide a supportive faith-based environment for individuals and families. These programs serve as a cornerstone for the community, fostering a sense of belonging, moral guidance, and personal development. through educational classes, religious services, and community engagement.

Health Advocacy Program
This program aims to deliver targeted fitness programs to improve health outcomes for communities in King County. The program will ensure inclusive and culturally sensitive fitness opportunities that promote physical health and foster community connections. Program tasks include staff training, advocacy and outreach efforts, and community engagement strategies.

Access to Services
This cross-sectoral program is designed to bridge the gap between underserved communities and essential government, social, and legal resources. Many immigrant, refugee, and low-income families face barriers to accessing critical services due to language, cultural differences, or lack of awareness. This program provides navigational support, advocacy, and outreach to help community members connect to resources..

Social Justice
This Program is dedicated to advocating for equity, inclusivity, and empowerment for marginalized communities. Rooted in the principles of justice, fairness, and collective responsibility, the program works to address systemic inequities while fostering civic engagement, advocacy, and community-led solutions. Through education, partnerships, and grassroots activism, MAYF strives to uplift historically underserved populations.

Environment and Climate Justice
This program aims to address environmental disparities impacting underserved BIPOC communities. Activities include advocacy efforts to influence environmental policies, and training on climate resilience and disaster preparedness. The program works to create equitable climate solutions, reduce the environmental burden on marginalized populations, and empower communities to drive sustainable change.

This program supports immigrant and ethnic communities in King County by addressing mental health challenges through awareness-raising, education, advocacy, and stigma reduction programs and strategies. Key features include educational workshops, advocacy for culturally competent mental health care, stigma-reducing campaigns, and women-focused support groups and maternal health workshops.

Voter Education Program
The Voter Education Program is designed to empower American citizens from Muslim and East African communities in King County by equipping them with the knowledge, resources, and tools necessary for informed participation in elections. This multifaceted initiative aims to bridge gaps in electoral understanding, promote civic engagement, and increase voter turnout within underserved communities.

The Program supports immigrant and ethnic communities by addressing mental health challenges through awareness-raising, education, advocacy, and stigma reduction programs and strategies. Key features include educational workshops on stress management, advocacy for culturally competent mental health care, stigma-reducing campaigns, women-focused support groups and maternal health workshops. The program also provides resource navigation assistance, connecting participants to culturally relevant mental health services.

This program is a comprehensive academic support initiative designed to enhance the educational success of students. The program provides personalized tutoring, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities to help students excel in their studies, build confidence, and develop strong academic foundations. Focused on immigrant, refugee, and low-income youth, the tutoring program addresses educational disparities by offering culturally responsive learning experiences tailored to individual student needs.
