By the grace of Allah, we are pleased to announce, that starting on the morning of Friday September 17th, 2021 for Fajr prayer, Masjid Tawhid is opening it’s doors once again for all five daily congregational prayers inshaAllah.

It has been almost 2 years (November of 2019) since we lost our Masjid and were forced to close our doors. After a very short period of time and during a Pandemic, we thank Allah the almighty and then our generous community for this milestone.

InshaAllah in the month of October we shall be announcing new programs and activities.

Project Update: May 8th Fundraiser

Asalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaaatu,

We would like to first thank everyone who participated in our May 8th Online Fundraiser. Alhamdulillah, we are happy to share we raised $202,000. Donations are still open - so please do contribute if you missed the fundraiser. We ask everyone to fulfill their pledges, share and help us reach our goal of $500,000. Jazaka Allah Khair. That being said, below is our message to all of you who partook in this immense khair:

“By the grace of Allah [‏سبحانه وتعالى] our online fundraiser for MAYF & Masjid Tawhid re-establishment was a success.

في الحديث الصحيح: "‏لا يشكر الله من لا يشكر الناس‏"‏

In an authentic Hadith the messenger PBUH said: ❝He who does not thank the people is not thankful to Allah❞

On behalf of MAYF and Masjid Tawhid, we would like to sincerely thank every single individual who took part and made it possible for this fundraiser to be successfully conducted.

We would also like to thank from the bottom of our hearts our generous donors, our community here in the state of Washington, around the states and from around the globe, after the permission of Allah [‏سبحانه وتعالى], it is your generosity that enabled us to successfully raise over $200,000 last night. Although it was short of our intended target, we still have a long way to go inshallah, and we know it will be through the continuous generosity of our community.

Once again we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!!!

Who are we?
**About MAYF:**

The Muslim American Youth Foundation (MAYF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in Seattle, Washington. This non-profit was created for the sole purpose of finding new solutions to a critical problem we as Muslim Parents and Community Members are facing. That being, our Youth.

We want to establish a Masjid and Community Center so that we can bring our Youth back. Our kids have more needs and services that they require, including; Athletics, Education, Tutoring, Support, Counseling and many more resources. We can no longer just have Masjids, we need Life Centers. We need to help develop these young minds in every facet of their lives, and to give them guidance as they need it.
